Hi guy,s, looking to decoke the inlet manifold/ swirl flap array on my Astra H 1.7 cdti ecoflex (110bhp), is there a guide/ sequence of the strip down, anything to do or avoid. Just trying not to have to strip off what i dont need to. She,s done 125,000 miles, i did have the dpf removed and egr maped out a couple of years ago.

The swirl control valve could be removed if you can fabricate a way to plug the holes that will be left on the intake after removal. However It will cause your check engine light to remain on. May I ask why you would want to do this? the swirl control valve is an emmisions device that improves on the engines effeciency and power.
